Driscoll Reflection Practice Kit

Use this free Driscoll reflection practice kit to work through one experience: what happened, why it matters, and what you will try next. Write your own notes, download a PDF, or use the blank worksheet and 15-minute tutor activity.

Your notebook is separate from the surrounding website. Notes stay in this tab and are not saved automatically or sent to AcadFundu. Download before leaving and omit names or identifying details.

No sign-up needed. Includes a blank worksheet and a suggested tutor activity.

How to use the three questions

  1. What? Describe your role and observations. Separate what you saw from what you assume other people thought.
  2. So what? Examine your interpretation, consider an alternative explanation and identify evidence or a course concept that helps.
  3. Now what? Choose one action you can try, decide what you will observe and set a time to review the result.

Using the downloads

  • Personal notes: choose Print / PDF in the notebook, download the PDF, then open it to print. English and Hindi are supported. Unsupported characters produce a message; the text and printable HTML downloads remain available.
  • Blank worksheet: a one-page A4 sheet for handwriting.
  • Tutor activity: a suggested 15-minute activity. Adapt it to your learners and course requirements; it is not a validated assessment.

Framework and sources

The questions originate in Borton's work and appear in later frameworks including Driscoll's. These prompts, the meeting example and the teaching activity are original AcadFundu practice materials, not quotations from Driscoll or a university endorsement. Follow your assignment brief and cite only sources you have read.
